What is the best time to take advantage of the comfortable climate in Beijing? The capital of China boasts many tourist attractions and is one of the most popular cities for travellers. Planning a holiday is not difficult but due to the continental climate, not every time of year is favourable for visiting the city.

Climate in Beijing from September to October
In the autumn, the weather starts to improve again. After the heavy rains in July and August due to the summer monsoon, clear skies finally return. Rainfall decreases and rainfall begins to become rare, especially from October onwards.
The temperature begins to drop and the first cold is felt, especially in the evening or early morning. The minimum is 15° in September, but falls by several degrees in October, reaching peaks of 8°

Climate in Beijing from November to December
From mid-November onwards, the temperature drops further and very warm clothes are needed to visit the city. In December, the minimum is -6°C and the maximum is around 4°. The cold is very bitter at this time of year and sometimes snow can even appear
It hardly ever rains during these two months, but a cold wind blows from the Mongolian desert. During the very cold periods during the day, the temperature may stay below zero while at night it may drop to -18°C.

When to go to Beijing?
In September, the weather is perfect for travelling to this wonderful city. The temperature is still comfortable, although the mercury can reach peaks of 26°, there is no humidity so the air is slightly cooler.
Even the first half of October it is possible to plan a holiday, but then the cold weather starts to arrive, so you need to bring warm clothes.
Both November and December are to be ruled out because the city is dominated by the cold.
