Fuerteventura is a constantly growing destination in terms of tourism, in fact, in recent years it has seen an almost constant tourist increase of 15% per year, thanks also to the decline in tourism in Egypt and the Red Sea destinations.
Airlines operating in Italy have therefore begun to battle each other to create flight offers to and from Fuerteventura with direct departures from Milan Malpensa, Milan Bergamo Orio al Serio, Pisa and Rome.
The cost of airline tickets varies from 100€ A/R at certain times of the year with the low-cost airlines (Ryanair and Easyjet, although to nearby Lanzarote) and around 180/200€ with the scheduled airlines (Meridiana, Neos and Vueling).

The advice is to book your flight at least 40 days in advance to find the best offers and save money on your flights, even if in the last days before departure some companies launch really advantageous last minute offers.

Here are a few pointers during our many trips between Italy and Fuerteventura:
Low coast flights
Fuerteventura Ryanair flights from Bergamo
Ryanair flies 3-4 times a week from Bergamo Orio al Serio to Fuerteventura with a journey time of 4h 10m, and allows in the basic fare an 8kg hand luggage with reduced dimensions, clearly being a low coast any additional service such as priority boarding, choice of seat, luggage in the hold, etc. have most of the times high costs compared to the cost of the ticket.
Flights to Fuerteventura from Milan Malpensa with Easyjet
Unfortunately Easyjet does not operate direct flights to Fuerteventura but flies ¾ times a week to Lanzarote, with almost unbeatable prices! You can in fact spend less than 90€ A/R if you 
book on the right dates.
Once in Lanzarote you take the bus to Playa Blanca Puerto (3,50€) and in 30 minutes by ferry with Armas or FredOlsen also taking the car at a cost of about 20€ per person you get to Fuerteventura .

Easyjet takes about 4h to make the journey although the time can be shorter if you fly in the evening.
Clearly, being a low-cost airline, every additional service is also charged for on Easyjet. Even eventual handbags have to be included in the hand luggage included in the ticket, otherwise a 50€ fee is charged. They are very strict about this.
Flights to Fuerteventura from Milan Malpensa Terminal 1 with Meridiana
Meridiana is in our opinion the best company to fly to Fuerteventura for value for money. Ticket prices can compete with the low coasts and
they range from €80 to €160 one way, but in addition to hand luggage, the ticket also includes a 23kg hold luggage and a snack on board.
The journey time from Milan is always about four hours and the planes, although usually a little older, are slightly more spacious.
Flights from Milan Malpensa to Fuerteventura with Neos Air
In terms of quality this is definitely the company we recommend, although clearly the prices are usually slightly higher than other companies, the comfort of these flights 
is reminiscent of intercontinental flights.
In addition to luggage in the hold and a snack on board included, Neos Air offers film screening and radio during the flight, as well as providing passengers with a blanket and pillow.
If you are not a maniac for savings, flying with Neos from northern Italy is definitely the best choice in terms of quality.
